Child care providers and others who care for young children can sign up to receive a free electronic quarterly newsletter from the American Academy of Pediatrics. The newsletter will include practical steps that caregivers and teachers can take to promote the health and development of children in child care. Each newsletter will be brief, and will focus on one health and/or safety topic. Future topics include: preventing and managing infectious diseases, connecting families to community resources, nutrition and physical fitness, developmental screening, socio-emotional health, and caregiver health.
